Random

So here is a pretty random assortment of pictures but it is what we've been working on these past few weeks. Most exciting for me is that Erich bought me a new crib. So here's picture of my new prized possession. I was quite proud I put it all together myself. It's hard to tell from the pictures but the nursery is Sports themed :)

We've had some beautiful sunny days so we've been laboring hard on the landscaping. The outside of our house was really ran down so we've been trying to spruce it up. We bought shutters, a new front door, and we put in railing along the porch. There used to be these humongous unruly juniper trees around the front of the house but we cut them down to open it up and replaced them with flower and shrub gardens. It's not all done but it's looking a lot better.

(this is Erich pulling out one of the 3 big trees in the front of our yard)

This next picture is of the beautiful canyon above our house. It is so green here right now I am loving it. I was all excited for the good weather and I dragged Erich on this hike, but then 10 minutes into it I found a tick crawling on Erich. I am absolutely petrified of ticks so that hike didn't last long. When we got back to the car we found several more of the little buggers. So nasty!

The crib is beautiful. I am getting so excited for you two. When are you due again? Your house is sooooo cute! I love the front porch!! It is so beautiful there. I am so excited to move back out to the west!! Justins official first day is the 28th of July. We are not sure what were doing for housing. We are loosing ALOT on our house here so it is frustrating. I will have to make a trip up north to visit you and the babe! I am so excited!!!

Awww, darling crib! Way to go putting it together! And good job on the junipers. Stephen always said if we bought a house with junipers, they were being pulled out of there. Luckily we actually found a house in Logan without them! I think it was the only one on the market (of about 300 houses) without them!

The house is looking awesome. Now all you need are some big southern rocking chairs for your front porch. Those ticks really are irritating. Glad to see you’re starting to make a dent in the list of baby items. Between a crib, stroller, car seat, highchair, ect there is a lot of stuff to get.

The crib is so nice, and you put it together? The house is looking great! I remember the junipers, we aren't fans of them either. The porch looks great. We are so excited for you guys!

what a perfect nursery! I can't wait to see all this stuff in person one of these days. I hear ya on the junipers. not sure who thought that was a good idea, but you are not the only one that has had to pull those out of the yard.

And seriously, your house looks amazing! I wish we could come up and see all of the work you've done and hopefully re-inspire me to get working again. (we've been on about a 6 month hiatus. hee hee).

where in exactly are you guys living? i mean, like in relation to other "big" towns? it looks gorgeous up there!
