Back to the blogging world at last

Hey sorry I have been blog lazy for so long. Life has been pretty hectic around here. Erich went on a detail down to New Mexico for some burning/sawing assignments. Being the nice guy that he is, he sent me to Georgia and California to visit my sisters (and my mom came too). Us ladies got in a lot of shopping, eating, six flags, hiking and of course late nights of game playing and gabbing! The only rough part was having to say goodbye. Some highlights from the trip were taking Jake to the ocean for the first time, losing the Wii tournament to my 8 year old nephew, hiking to the top of Stone Mountain and overlooking the skyline of Atlanta (my 4 year old niece hiked the entire 3 miles by herself making her aunt quite proud!).....I could go on and on as the whole trip was amazing. Jake even spoiled me as usual and did a fabulous job riding the plane. He only got fussy for one of the flights, which is pretty impressive considering that I left my house at 7:30 a.m. and did not get to Atlanta until 3:30 a.m....yep that's right with the time change that is almost 18 hours of traveling. What a trooper I have. Here's some pics from the trip.

Welcome back from your long hiatus! Missed your posts, and glad you got away with the family for a little bit. What a PARTY! Glad Jake is eating better, and it was fun seeing you. Seriously impressive Mario Kart skills!

Sounds like you had a fun and eventful trip. Glad to hear Jacob is a good flier- can he teach Rhone how to be a little better behaved? We can't wait to see pictures and hear all about your new adventures!

Yes, welcome back. I believe you owe the blogging world a much bigger update?

Wow, that is a lot of traveling. Can we switch babies for a while? My girls hate just riding in the van to Wal-Mart. I'm glad Jake was sooo good for you! Seems like an awesome vacation seeing family. Now when are you gonna head to the Oregon Coast? Hmmmm???
